Basal Implant

The basal implant is also known as an orthopedic implant because it uses the principles of esophageal surgery, unlike the normal dental implants available. They are also called lateral or intervertebral disc implants. One of the main reasons for using bone to place implants instead of alveolar bone is that the load-bearing area of implant placement in the alveolar bone can also be immediately filled with teeth.
